Grey Vetiver

As a true lover of all things vetiver, I'm always excited to see new interpretations melding vetiver with other accords… and Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver does a very nice job of taking a traditional blend and modernizing it for a newly sophisticated consumer. The smoky, nutty root is surrounded by the citrus warmth of grapefruit dancing on a rim of orange flower and orris, and then balances beautifully with sweet nutmeg and pimiento laying a foundation for amber woods, sage, toasted tonka, and velvet oakmoss. I find Grey Vetiver highly addictive... suggested for the man (or woman - I think this definitely can be a shared scent) who is not afraid to be sensorially adventurous and attracted to gourmand scents laced with nuances of spice.
