Description
London opens with a cocktail of spices: pepper, saffron, cumin… Composed of cistus, honey and frankincense, the heart also unveils a floral facet, thanks to geranium and jasmine. The trail is woody, resinous and animalic, too, with ‘reconstituted notes of castoreum and civet’.
History
London, the fragrance, was originally created to celebrate the opening of Tom Ford’s flagship London store. The scent ‘captures the city’s cultural vibrancy and unique dynamic between elegant, urbane composure and sometimes scandalous carnal amusements,’ the house explains. You’ll recognize the signature bottle, which evokes a chess piece.
Range
Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz.

@ECKBO57 and @CLAIRDEJOUR: Tom Ford has a vivid imagination. I Agree it is a mystery how the fragrance pyramid ties itself to London. I had to laugh when I read that it might be the price. I have commented many times on the outrageous prices of certain perfumes. But I did succumb and buy both Tom Ford and Bond No. 9 fragrances. On-line shopping at 3:00 a.m. was the part of the reasons.
