First Eau de Parfum Intense
Description
This intense version of Van Cleef’s First is composed around four flowers: jasmine, frangipani blossom, mimosa and iris. Fairly faithful to the original First, the scent has gone more modern with a ‘slightly more gourmand note… almost praline, but very refined.’ Perfumer: Nathalie Feisthauer, Symrise.

History
In 2012, First, the first fragrance dreamt up by Van Cleef & Arpels, has been magnificently garbed in black and gold for an Intense version. The perfume is a prestige edition, with ‘an even more striking trail, stronger concentration and only the absolutely highest-quality ingredients,’ the brand explains. Black and gold are a reference in the house’s original field of business, jewelry.

j'ai toujours eu peur de sentir first, j'ai cette impression de parfum de dadame. mais c'est un grand classique de la parfumerie et je devrais un jour me résoudre à lui donner sa chance
