Miss Vanderbilt
Description
With a cheerfully fruity opening, the fragrance goes on to reveal a floral bouquet of rose, underscored with white flowers (ylang-ylang, tuberose) and green accents. The spicy notes (cardamom, nutmeg, clove) provide delicate highlights too. The scent evolves towards a creamy, woodsy trail of sandalwood, sweetened with vanilla and tonka bean. Floral, woodsy, with oriental facets, Miss Vanderbilt also possesses the powdery tonalities of heliotrope and May rose. Perfumer: Sonia Constant, Givaudan.
At a glance
A perfume that pays tribute to budding femininity
History
Romance and femininity are two values that have long been associated with the house of Vanderbilt. Yet with Miss Vanderbilt, the brand aims to express a different image: ‘one of budding femininity, the first harbingers of seduction’. The fragrance is a ‘reassuring, woodsy-floral cocoon you want to curl up inside’ explains perfumer Sonia Constant. ‘As soft as a feather (…) with a powdery tonality’, the designer wanted ‘an intense, velvety caress of a fragrance’. As for the Miss Vanderbilt woman, the perfumer sees her as, ‘a warm, welcoming and steady woman, who is very sensuous, but not ostentatiously so’. In popular stores and department stores.

Beaucoup de notes dans cette fragrance.... Certaine très intéressantes alors à sentir, j'avais adoré le Vanderbilt original quand j'étais ado.
