Description
Oud Oriental opens with a mix of bitter orange, neroli and black pepper. The floral heart is composed of heliotrope, rose, freesia and violet, enriched by resinous notes of olibanum (frankincense). It also includes spices such as saffron and cardamom. The fragrance is finally wrapped in a complex blend of vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood, agarwood (oud wood) and leather.

Versace pour Femme Oud Oriental is designed for lovers of oriental scents. The fragrance is described by the brand as a sensual heady aroma with aphrodisiacal qualities. Donatella Versace explained that she wanted to create something very strong and seductive. The fragrance offers ‘the seduction of a sunset in the desert ; a warm breeze carrying thoughts away’. The golden bottle is engraved with the brand logo.

Commandé en ligne sans avoir senti la fragrance au préalable, j'avais été séduite sur le papier par les différentes notes du parfum. Au final, c'est une fragrance très forte qui souvent me ravit tant elle est capiteuse et qui parfois m'écoeure. Ce parfum se porte selon l'humeur et n'est certainement pas passe partout.

À son tour Versace a cédé aux sirènes de la mode du oud, mode à laquelle aucune marque n'échappe.

I love how Donatella states outright: This is for women who love strong oriental seduction scents. She lets the consumer know who should be wearing this perfume. I have a few oriental scents, but we've had such a bad winter this year, I am already looking for Spring scents.
