Description
Néroli opens with notes of petit-grain, orange and other citrus fruits. The heart is composed of neroli and orange-blossom absolute intertwined with honeyed notes. The trail is muskier. Perfumer: Veronique Nyberg, IFF.

History
After creations like Tendre Jasmin and Vanille Noire, Yves Rocher’s Secrets d’Essences collection is growing in 2013 with Néroli. The house focused on bitter orange in various forms: neroli, the blossoms’ essential oil; lusher, more voluptuous orange-blossom absolute, which is obtained from the same flowers but through solvent extraction; and the fruit, i.e. bitter Seville orange, as well as petit-grain, the essential oil of small branches and unripe fruit of the orange tree.

Bottle
A sleek bottle with rounded curves in shades of white. The cardboard packaging is graced with a cord and a wax seal.

With orange blossom, you can get different raw materials. Neroli is obtained by steam distillation : it’s the essential oil of the flower. Neroli has a fresh, airy scent : it’s close to the orange flower water. The orange blossom absolute reminds more of the flower : it’s more opulent and heady. You can find this note in perfumes like Giorgio Beverly Hills.
