History
Sensual and animalic, Noble Leather is a fragrance in Yves Saint Laurent’s Oriental Collection line. Inspired by the mysteries of the Orient, the collection is an invitation to travel. Noble Leather is composed around a leather accord that’s sweetened with dried-fruit notes. The cubic bottle is sheathed in gold and nestles in a golden box inspired by an Oriental palace. I have found that many men cannot stand the smell of tangerine fragranced items. It could be very hard to tolerate (for men), but the leather accord could remedy everything.

It’s a very strong leathery fragrance. Compared with this one, Tom Ford Tuscan Leather whispers rather than shouts. Nevertheless, Noble Leather is interesting. The dried-fruit note particularly. In YSL’s Oriental Collection, it’s the most masculine of the three fragrances. But a woman who loves rich scents can wear it too.
